Cake Decorating Classes

With the help of our seasoned Red Seal Pastry Chef and cake designer, learn how to transform your home kitchen into a bakery. Our wide variety of baking and pastry classes will teach you everything from preparing the perfect cake, complex confectionaries and stunning tasty works of art for all your special events. Our small hands on classes offer you direct training and the confidence to make a special cake and desserts for your friends and family.

Learn with us how to create a custom 3D purse cake. We will teach you the basic of cake carving and
decorating a cake to become a designer bag suitable for any birthday or party you are celebrating.

  • Creating artful backgrounds and décor for your cake board to enhance your custom cake

cover a cake in fondant, and make a fabulous bow, ribbons, tissue, and name tag for any occasion. We will go
step by step in helping students create a custom work of art.

  • Learn how to cover a square cake and battle the challenges
  • Various bow techniques and styles
  • How to make life like tissue
  • Creating a square cake to look like a box/present
  • Writing techniques on cakes.

Learn with us how to create a wedding cake from basic to elaborate with techniques and ideas that will last
a life time.

We are here to teach you to feel comfortable creating a 3 tier wedding cake with sugar flowers, pillars,
draping, hand painting, and piping on a wedding cake. Most importantly we will teach you how to prevent your
wedding cake from collapsing and staying structurally stable. You will leave our class feeling confident in
your skills as you can apply them to a wedding cake but also any party cake as well.

Cakes with Attitude shares techniques for decorating with buttercream, so you can make your cakes look as
wonderful as they taste.
If you are a brand new decorator, Natasha and her team will teach you how to cut, level, fill and crumb coat
your cake layers like a professional.
Then learn her trade secrets for a smooth or textured buttercream finish and add simple accents.
We will also cover how to make various style of buttercream ruffles and rosettes to finish your cake.
Each student will leave with a 8″ buttercream cake to take home.
