We do not have a general price list because each cake is one-of-a-kind. Most custom cakes are priced per person; smaller orders (typically, anything under 75 servings) are priced per project. Because of the care we give to each order, we must require a minimum of $300.00 on all of our wedding cakes. You may pay for them with payday loans in Connecticut if you do not have spare funds for such an expenditure.

Due to our shops capacity and demand, high season for weddings see our minimums increase.

Pricing starts at $5.00 per serving for a plain iced cake. Our pricing tends to average from $7-$9 per serving. Ultimately the price is based on the complexity of design and the number of people being served. Sheet cakes are available to supplement larger parties and are priced at their current size (not so much by slice)

Before you arrive for your consultation, it is helpful to have a budget in mind for what you would like to spend on your cake. This will give us a better sense of what we can design for you.

Yes, we require a $150.00 retainer to reserve your wedding date on our calendar.
We will base your retainer on the total estimated amount at the time you place your order. Refunds are discussed at the time when your wedding cake is booked.

There is not a fee for consultations, however if you would like to add a tasting with this appointment we charge $15.00 that must be prepaid in advance.

An hour and a half is set-aside for each client, which has proven to be ample time to both design and taste our cakes. Often, appointments are scheduled before and after yours so please plan to be on time so we have a full hour. Please keep in mind that cake samples are prepared specifically for your appointment. We ask for the courtesy of 48 hours’ notice if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.

Cancellations without the appropriate notice will be subject to a fee of $25 in order to rebook the appointment.

Yes, we offer a complimentary consultation for you and up to 3 guests. We are also happy to offer a cake tasting. If this is requested by you, we schedule an appointment for a charge of $15.00 to taste a preset menu. All tastings must be paid in advance by Mastercard or Visa.
Although a cake tasting is an element of your event that often times the whole family is eager to be a part of, we’ve found it’s a bit difficult to focus with too much input! Our studio can accommodate a total of four guests. Arrangements must be made in advance for more than two so we are sure to have enough cake for you. Please call in advance as all cake consultations are by appointment.

It is helpful to have made venue, color, and floral decisions prior to our meeting so we have that information available. Additionally, any element from your event that you feel we can draw inspiration from is great to bring. Pictures of your dress, venue, your invitations or design motif… a monogram, color swatches… a piece of wrapping paper that catches your eye… it can all be helpful.Or you may also just bring yourselves! Our portfolio has hundreds of cakes for you to browse
through, and we have endless ideas. The design process is definitely a collaborative effort, and we’ll keep going until you have a design you love.

Cupcakes are always fun and a less expensive route than a fancy wedding cake.
We start a small 1 tier cake at $70.00 and require a minimum of 4 dozen cupcakes when placing your order. We offer 3 different sizes for cupcakes and allow for every 2 dozen cupcakes 1 flavor.

Regular cupcakes are 4-5 bites and start at $35.00/dzn

Mini cupcake are 1-2 bites and start at $20.00/dzn

Extra details can be added to cupcakes such as colored wrappers, sugar flowers, dragees and other cupcakes details. These details range from $1.50 to $2.00 extra per cupcake.

Additional slab cakes can be purchased for larger weddings and are offered in 3 sizes. Slabs are not decorated the same as a wedding cake and will be more cost effective. We do not decorate or place fondant on any slab slabs. They are simply meant to be kept in the kitchen as back up for extra slices

Option 1 – Allows for 20-25 slices. Costs $65.00

Option 2 – Allows for 40-50 slices. Costs $115.00

Option 3 – allows for 65-80 slices. Costs $145.00

We are often booked up many weeks ahead of time so the sooner the better to reserve your place on our calendar. We require a minimum of one month but for weddings we suggest a minimum of six months to one year.We definitely attempt to accommodate last minute requests if our schedule allows. Please call or

We typically coordinate directly with your florist to ensure we are using the same varieties of flowers. All clients purchase the flowers and then Cakes With Attitude places them on the cake prior to delivery or at the event.

Yes. You may reserve your date with a $100 retainer. Final arrangements just need to be made at least 4 weeks prior to your event. Again, we ask that you be absolutely certain that you would like to work with us, as all retainers are date specific and non-refundable.

Yes. We do custom designed cupcakes & individual cakes and decorated sugar cookies and cakepops. Please contact us for additional information to discuss your designs, flavours and pricing. Prices start from our basic design and size to our more elaborate custom design just for you.

Cupcakes: $2.50 – $6.00 each

Yes we do offer gluten free and egg free cakes. I am sorry no dairy free cakes are offered at this time. Most of all our flavours and fillings can be converted however please ask for all details when placing your order about restrictions. We currently do not make sugar free, vegan cakes or dairy free cakes.

All of our ingredients are natural and of the highest quality, which is one of the reasons, our pricing tends to be just a bit higher than our competitors. We truly believe that ingredients really do make all the difference and are committed to using only the finest products available.

We are told time and time again by clients who have made it a priority to meet with every local baker imaginable, that our cakes are second to none. Come taste for yourself…

Yes we do offer delivery for celebration cakes. We have a flat fee of $40.00 in Calgary for Delivery for celebration cakes. If delivery is required during

7:30 – 9:30am or

3:30-6pm

we do charge an additional $10.00 as rush hour can add several hours to our delivery. If delivery is required outside the city limits we can arrange this as well as long as we have availability.
Please call our bakery for out of town delivery fees.

Our delivery area ranges from Calgary to Golden, B.C . We are willing to travel up to 400km from Calgary as long as our cakes can safely be delivered so please contact us to inquire about a specific location.Delivery and set up fees are additional and are calculated at an hourly rate – round-trip.
Please check with our staff as our delivery fees change from time to time depending on what gas is calculated at the moment. Currently our wedding cake delivery/set up fees are $86.00 in Calgary. Out of town deliveries will vary in price depending on the additioal distance we must transport your wedding cake.

Yes. We do rent a variety of cake stands that are glass, ceramic or silver.
These stand rentals range from $10.00 – $35.00 for a 48 hour use. As for our cupcake stand rentals, we offer a variety of stands that we then set up to create a stunning cupcake display/buffet style table. This display will range from 5-15 stands we use for your event to create an elaborate and elegant look that no other company creates. The rental price for us to create this stunning effect for you is $60.00 for a 48 hr use. All stands are to be returned to Cakes With Attitude
following the 48 hours after the event. Please be aware a damage deposit is taken on all rentals.Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. A twenty five percent deposit will secure your date on our calendar.Cake toppers are available for sale as we do not rent this item. We work with a great company that has a variety of approximately 50 cake toppers for purchase. These cake toppers range between $20.00 – $50.00 for sale.

While it ranges from as little as $80 to upwards of several thousand (that’s a huge cake btw), cakes are priced based on a few elements:

First is the size of the cake you will need along with the custom detailing that will follow.
Some cakes contain non-cake elements which are purchased from local and international retailers and wholesale establishments. These costs, and the cost of purchasing or importing them are included in the base price of a cake. The second element is difficulty, number of guests it will feed and the time that will be required to create the cake. Some cakes require a half an hour of decorating time while others may take days to create, deliver, set up etc.

Usually at least 2 weeks’ notice is recommended, although we try to accommodate last minute orders when we can. Brides often contact us 4-6 months prior to their wedding date.

Deposits are required on all orders. Orders less than $100.00 we do not require a deposit however we do keep a credit card on file. All orders exceeding $100.00 we require a $50.00 deposit with a credit card on file.

In the event that you need to cancel or postpone you cake order we require a minimum of a 4 day notice. If notice is given less than 4 days all deposits will not be
refunded. In the event that your cake has not been started we will keep your initial deposit as credit for you to use at a later date towards a future order. Cancellation policies regarding wedding cakes please call our bakery directly.

Multiple tiered celebration cakes start at $150.00 and feed 18-25 guests.

They are party cakes and use standard pans such as round, square, heart or rectangle.
These cakes are typically covered in buttercream and then fondant to provide a crisp, clean look. Please check our gallery for a wide range of celebration cakes we have done. Don’t see something you like, please send us a picture you have in mind and we would be happy to recreate this for you.

Sculptured cakes start at $80.00 and will feed 8-10 guests. A sculptured cake is a hand carved cake to look like an object. 3D cakes in my gallery average around
$150-$400.00.

Large themed cakes are also based on the number of servings and difficulty. Please send pictures and the number of slices you would like your cake to be for us to provide an accurate price. If you’d like a flavour but don’t see it, feel free to ask…but keep in mind certain types (such as cheesecake, angel food, and mousses) may not be stable enough for a sculpted or tiered cake.

Yes we do offer cupcakes and tasty ones at that. Cupcakes can be ordered by a minimum of a dozen with half a dozen intervals after this.

We offer 2 different sizes of our gourmet cupcakes.

Regular – $34/dzn.

Mini – $20.00/dzn **Only available by the dzn.

Gluten free cupcakes can be purchased as well and taste amazing. Our gluten free cakes and cupcakes are moist, fluffy and do not have a gritty or chalky taste at
all.

Regular – $38.00/dzn

Mini Cupcakes $50.00/ 2 dzn (minimum two dozen when ordering)

Cakes with Attitude is not a nut free facility. Our bakery carries pecans and hazelnuts. We do not work with peanuts. All cakes that do not have nuts are taken very
serious to not be in contact with our cake orders that do have nuts. Please be advised that although we take as many precautions as possible we cannot guarantee that cross contamination will occur with your order.

We do not have a brochure other than our website. Each cake is custom designed so our website serves mainly as a portfolio for you to see previous work. If you would like to schedule a consultation you will then have the opportunity to view our complete portfolio.
